Volunteering at Cornerstone

School Arrival Aide

Time: 7:00 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. 
Duties: Greet students at the gate as they arrive, monitor the school yard for students safety, help direct traffic in the school yard. 
Skill: Must be comfortable engaging with students and their families. 

School Dismissal Aide 

Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. 
Duties: Help direct traffic as parents or buses arrive, monitor car line traffic for safety, pass out papers when needed to parents in the car line, and monitor surroundings for student safety. 
Skill: Must be comfortable engaging with students and their families. 

Classroom Assistant 

Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm (negotiable) 
Duties: Assist teacher in classroom as directed; Provide support for lessons and activities.
Skill: Ability to serve in a school setting and work with teachers and students. 

Office Assistant 

Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm (negotiable) 
Duties: Provide support to the administrative work of the school. 
Skill: Answering phones, filing, mailings, and other duties as assigned; computer literacy a plus. 

Facilities Assistant 

Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm (negotiable) 
Duties: Support the work of our facilities team, fulfilling duties as assigned. 
Skill: Must be a handyman/woman; in good physical condition, etc.

Admissions Ambassador

Support Cornerstone’s enrollment efforts by serving as an Admissions Ambassador. Ambassadors welcome prospective families at events, share their Cornerstone experience, and assist the Admissions Office with outreach and follow‑up.

Field Trip Chaperone

Provide additional support to teachers on school trip days; Must be able to supervise students if classes are separated into smaller groups at trip sites. 

Event Support 

Assist Cornerstone staff with prep and set-up at site locations prior to and during off-campus events. Event experience is a plus, but not required.
