Make a Recurring Gift

When you give online, you can choose to make your gift recur automatically - monthly, quarterly, or annually. By doing so, you join a special community we call our Faithful Givers, supporters who sustain Cornerstone’s mission year-round with steady, reliable gifts.

PA Tax Credit Program (EITC/OSTC)

Through Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (PA EITC) and the Pennsylvania Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (PA OSTC), individuals and businesses can direct state taxes to support scholarships at Cornerstone.

These programs run on a calendar year, but gifts can be made in the spring or fall to receive generous tax credits. If you have $500 or more in annual PA tax liability, this is one of the most effective ways to multiply your impact without increasing your total tax bill.

Gifts of Stock or Securities

A gift of appreciated stock or securities can be one of the most effective ways to support Cornerstone, and often provides significant tax benefits for you as well. By donating stock, you can help more students access a high-quality, faith-based education while potentially avoiding capital gains tax and receiving a charitable deduction.

To make a gift of stock, simply contact your broker and provide the name of the stock, the number of shares, and the name of the account the shares will come from.

Give Through Your IRA

If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), you can easily recommend a grant to Cornerstone Christian Academy. You’ve already received a tax deduction for contributions to your DAF, but your grant today will directly benefit Cornerstone’s students.

If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a charitable gift directly from your IRA to Cornerstone Christian Academy. This is known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), and is a simple, tax-efficient way to support our mission.

In 2025, the maximum is $108,000 per year, and if you’re 73 or older, your IRA gift can also count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).

Funds go directly from your IRA to Cornerstone, so the amount you give is excluded from your taxable income. This may help to reduce your overall tax burden.

To qualify for FY2025, IRA gifts must be completed by Dec. 31, 2025.

Matching Programs

Many companies offer employee matching gift programs, an easy way to increase the impact of your donation to Cornerstone. If your employer has a matching program, they may match your contribution dollar-for-dollar, or even more.

Not sure if your company matches gifts?Please check with your HR department about their matching gift policy, or reach out to us if you need help.

You can also support Cornerstone through workplace giving platforms like United Way, YourCause, or Benevity. If your employer uses one of these, you may be able to designate Cornerstone as your charity of choice. Please check with your HR department for details or reach out to us with any questions.
